This error arises when trying to activate the same Activation ID on more devices than its capacity allows. For example, if an Activation ID has two copies (it can remain active on two devices simultaneously) and is already active on two devices, the third time the activation is attempted, the user will be notified by this error that the maximum capacity has already been reached.
In order to solve it, there are two options:
- If you remember in which device it is active: go to that PC/workstation and return it from there. To do so, follow instructions in section 'Return a License' of User Guide attached. Prioritize online return.
- If you do not remember in which device it is active: please, contact firstname.lastname@example.org via email and send us the Activation ID you are trying to activate or a screenshot like the one above.
