The Traffic Light view displays the status of the Desired, Undesired, and Unexpected counts within the Intact Workflows. The Desired / Undesired Expected Type and corresponding parameters can be set during or after project creation. For more details, refer to the Intact: Expected Type and Minimum % of Local Base Peak Knowledge Base article (link here). All unique occurrences of a specific type for a given protein are counted. The uniqueness of the protein is defined by the Protein name and Expected type columns. Editing the Name and Expected type columns in the Sequence combinations table is disabled if the data is loaded from a CSV file to help maintain consistency between tabs.
Traffic Lights within the Report
The Traffic Lights are displayed in the Summary tab of the Intact report and allows the user to quickly access Pass / Fail criteria.
This table is the summary of the peaks found in the deconvolved mass spectrum.
Desired column is PASS (green), if all the desired masses are found. It is FAIL (red) if one or more of the
desired masses are not found.
Undesired column is PASS (green), if no undesired masses are found. It is REVIEW (yellow) otherwise.
Unexpected column is PASS, if no unexpected masses are found. It is REVIEW if one or more
unexpected masses are found.
The Status is PASS if all three of Desired, Undesired, and Unexpected are PASS. It is REVIEW if any of the three are REVIEW. It is FAIL if any of the three are FAIL.
If the project fails to report any desired masses, this will result in Project Status column being reported as “Fail”.
Traffic Lights within the Analysis View
The user also has the ability to manually change the Pass / Fail value in the Status column based on the value from the Validate column in the Project table. This is possible if the Validate column is not empty and the Advanced configuration detailed below is enabled:
